Victorian Senior Care is currently looking for a RN Nurse with good clinical experience who also has the ability to create a motivating environment, build team and home, and address concerns from staff and residents. This position would travel between Lenoir Assisted Living and The Village of Kinston daily.


  • Daily review incident reports for previous day. 
    • Assure appropriate followup is completed by community- to include root cause analysis of incident, identify needed referrals to outside agencies if appropriate, recommendations to obtain physician orders for assistive devices or changes in medications, identify new interventions needed for implementation and recommendations to changes in care plan.
  • Identify and monitor residents whom are “at risk”.  
    • Conduct daily assessments of residents until acute needs are met.
  • Audit charts. 
    • Write recommended plan for improving care.
    • Within 5 days of writing recommendations, monitor to assure plans was followed by RCC.
  • Monthly audits and/or more frequently as needed of medication carts and Medication administration. 
  • Provide training for direct care staff on personal care, use of assistive devices, supervision of residents, identifying changes in conditions, and other in-services as needed.


Must posess valid NC RN license

Must be able to read, write, understand and follow directions.

Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to Lift, Push, Pull and Carry a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must be able to Bend, Stoop, Squat, and reach overhead as needed.

Must have no substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program and maintain during employment.

Must have a clear SBI record and maintain during period of employment.

Must have two-step tuberculin skin test (first test prior to hire and second test within two weeks of first test).
