Overview

As an Intake Coordinator, you will be the “go to" person for recieving and responding to calls looking for placement in Assisted Living or Group homes. You will use Quickbooks, Excel and other office suites to enhance administrative management for the business. This is a strategic organizational role where you will help the office run smoothly and gain an understanding of the business priorities.

Responsibilities

  1. Follow up generated leads by telephone and by mail; convert to tours.
  2. Document information in electronic health record.
  3. Document number of leads, tours and move-ins on a weekly basis; report to ED/Administrator at community and corporate office.
  4. Track success of lead generation sources, follow-ups and move-ins.
  5. Develop and maintain a referral list and make calls on referrals.
  6. Assist with website development and follow up leads generated by website.
  7. Conduct follow up to ensure assisted living or group home staff have made contact, and checking throughout the screening and admission process to make sure we are getting the individual screened and admitted timely.  
  8. Research and stay current with industry trends.
  9. Participate in job-related continuing education as required.
  10. Perform other duties as required by circumstances.

Qualifications

  1. Must have a High School Diploma or GED; however, some college is preferred.
  2. Must possess proven skills in sales, written and verbal communication, organization and evaluation.
  3. Must have the ability and willingness to perform cold calls and telephone sales calls.
  4. Must possess good computer skills with emphasis on working in spreadsheets.
  5. Must be goal oriented and competitive.
  6. Must have no substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program.
  7. Must have clear SBI and DMV records and maintain this status during period of employment.
  8. Must have a valid NC Driver's License and maintain during duration of employment. 

  9. Must have had at least 8 years of driving experience, as this is a requirement of company's liability insurance carrier.

  10. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 50 pounds.
  11. Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
